The medium-sized family business, founded in Zeulenroda, Thuringia, in 1929, is one of the industry’s market leaders. Bauerfeind has approximately 1,800 employees at three production sites in Germany, and 15 subsidiaries in Europe, the Middle East and the United States. The special compression stocking for ulcus cruris therapy VenoTrain® ulcertec is convincing as a result of its unique patented rhomboid knit specially developed by Bauerfeind. Image 3D – the next generation of measurement 17.09.2008

Image 3D and ScanCam are digital measurement systems, which determine
circumference and length measurements precisely, including the calculation
of a 3D-model of patients’ legs and residual limbs. All necessary data for
individual socket modeling and best treatment with prosthetic devices and
compression hosiery is provided. A precise identification of pressure
peaks under the foot can be obtained by the digital foot pressure
measurement system – MediLogic®.

Moderne Beinvermessung mit Image 3D 17.09.2008

Mit Image 3D und ScanCam, den digitalen Mess- und Versorgungssystemen von Bauerfeind, werden Beine im Rahmen einer phlebologischen oder
prothetischen Versorgung absolut exakt und berührungslos vermessen.
Umfangs-, Längen- und Volumendaten werden ermittelt und anhand eines
reproduzierbaren 3D-Modells der unteren Extremitäten dargestellt. Eine
exakte Bestimmung der Druckspitzen unter dem Fuß bietet darüber hinaus die
